Generally, the implant placement technique used all over the world, requires a full opening of the gum in order to place the implants on the maxilla and to stitch the gum. Then you have to remove the stitches after a week. Depending on the size of the opening and suturing, the patient may suffer more, and it brings the risk of inflammation and infection. The patient must stand for several days at home. After the healing (3-6 months), it is necessary to reopen the gum for the placement of aboutments over implants and to restitch the gum, to wait one more week for the healing of the gum, than the placement of the prosthesis which will take 1-2 week.

With the new technique of Dr. Med. Dent. Emin Şimşek, it will be performed simply a tiny incision in the gum and the implant will be placed directly on the maxilla without stitches, so you don't need to return to the dentist to remove them.
